They’ve always said blondes have more fun, so I decided to check it out for myself….but without fully committing my whole head, so I went for an ombre look instead. Not sure what I think about it yet. I kinda feel like a surfer.

I have a haircut appointment this evening at Redge Salon, with my awesome hair stylist, Madoka, for a much needed haircut. It’s hard to believe that only 3 months ago, I was suddenly inspired to cut my own bangs and have been rocking that look since. However, the bangs have had their pros and cons….
PROS - when the weather is dry, my bangs look awesome and they definitely highlight my eyes/cheekbones
CONS - depending on the humidity or how oily my face is that day, by 3pm, I have thin, oily strands of hair hanging over my forehead making it look like I’m a sweathog.
Now that a new season is quickly approaching and my hair length is way past my shoulders, I need a new look to match my spring/summer attitude. I’ve already decided that my bangs need to grow out so they become long bangs (I absolutely cannot have a ‘hair sweatband’ in the summer), and I am definitely going to go shorter so my thin, limp hair can have some body. The pics posted above are some inspiring ideas.
I don’t know exactly what I’m going to look like after 7pm, but let’s hope I don’t look like an idiot.
